The ability to do search engine optimization or SEO well is hit or miss with today's popular web management systems, such as Wordpress, Joomla and Drupal. Some systems like Joomla do have some SEO built in but then the process of creating a web page can be tricky. Then there are others like Wordpress that requires plugins to be installed to get SEO to work. Then, once you apply the plugin, several components are missing while the code generated to create the website is extremely bulky (google does NOT like heavy websites). And, depending on which SEO plugin you select, each work differently in how you set it up and how it adds the SEO to the web pages. Because Google and other search engines like to have certain components contained within each page, none of the CMS mentioned do it very well.
To make SEO work for you, having a CMS that has proper SEO built into the system and have placer holders to allow for those components is a must. All you have to do is fill in the fields, with our guidance, and your site is already on its way to making leaps and bounds above your competitors websites.
